GhostIDS

An attempt for a simple, easy to use, GUI based host-based intrusion detection system or HIDS. It is NOT a firewall, and does not currently feature filesystem malware scans and malware removal at this time. This is a DETECTION SYSTEM similar to what enterprise networks and systems would use. What it DOES is detect anomalous activities that could possibly indicate a hacker/threat actor breaching or attempting to breach your machine. At this time it is nothing more than a warning tool, not a removal tool. This may change at some point, when more functionality is added. 

Only after thurough sandbox testing and live testing will I deem this program and it's updates suitible for release. An intrusion detection system helps nobody if it returns signifigant amounts of false positives and false negatives. There are always going to be false detections in any IDS, but I will do everything I can to mitigate them.
